A Cebuano born and bred company started way back May 1996 with just one table
at Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City. In February 2000, Junrex was officially incorporated as JUNREX CELLPHONES AND ACCESSORIES, INC. with SEC Registration No. CS200000126.
The company has grown year by year through hard work, dedication and passion. From just one kiosk in 1996, Junrex now have seventeen (17) retail shops, concentrating its domain in the Central Visayas with a workforce nearing 150 employees. From focusing on cellphone retail and wholesale distribution, its business enterprise has now grown to retailing of mobile convergence devices like mp3, speakers, digital camera and other mobile accessories and gadgets. It has been registered as JUNREX HOLDINGS, INC. last June 11, 2007 bearing the SEC Registration No. CS200727374 and with Pablo ‘Jun’ Yap as the President and CEO. It has eight (8) subsidiary companies under it including Airtouch Distributors, Inc. as its technical service provider.
Accreditations for exclusive distributor and service center from various manufacturers were given to Junrex year after year: SAMSUNG in 2003, BIRD in 2004, SIEMENS and PHILIPS in 2005, MOTOROLA in 2006, ALCATEL and LG in 2007 aside from being the drop off center for NOKIA. Recently, it has been accredited as regional service arm for Sony Ericsson. Junrex has been chosen as Nokia’s partner on its Concept Shop in both SM Cebu and Ayala Center Cebu in 2007, Samsung Concept Shop in both Ayala Center Cebu and SM City – Cebu Northwing and Sony Ericsson Concept Shop in SM City – Cebu Northwing last April 2008.

On August 8, 2012, Junrex Consulting, Inc. (JCi) was officially born. Partnered with SAP Gold Partner – ABM Global Solutions (AGS), an epldt company as an Extended Business Manager (EBM) offering SAP Business One products and services.
